Cardamom Tea 100g Elaichi Chai From Nilgiri Hills, Ooty (India) | Fine Cut Loose Leaf Nilgiri Black English Breakfast Tea with Cardamom - Hand Mixed with Love | Better Food Mood

Unlike the strong black breakfast teas, Nilgiri Tea has a very mellow fruity and floral taste with a light brown hue which is smooth on the palette. I paired it with Elaichi (Cardamom) to create a mild fruity camphor-like taste that I enjoy with desserts. I used high quality, strong scented premium cardamom pods and have hand-mixed this beautiful Elachi Chai with love for you to enjoy.
Picture the hills of Ooty, a cool breeze with tea plantations as far as the eye can see. Founded as a British Raj Summer Resort in India, the sound of the steam railway fills the air as it still makes its way through the plantations. It is here that Nilgiri tea grows and no where else.
This black Nilgiri Elaichi Chai (Cardamom black tea) has caffeine. It is grown on the hills of Ooty and has 100% pure, fresh ingredients with no artificial colours or additives.
This Elaichi Chai is sent to you in an air-tight zip bag. Simply seal after use and store it in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight or heat (such as your stove) or humidity.
Packed in a factory that handles nuts and seeds
In your teapot, add 1 level tsp of black Elachi Chai. Pour about 1 cup of hot boiling water over this and leave it to steep for 5 minutes. Strain into your teacup. I also like to add milk and honey for that smooth sweet taste.
How many Cups of Tea a day? I would suggest between 1 - 2 cups a day, depending on how much caffeine you can handle!
For a cold brew: Nilgiri tea makes one of the best iced teas due to its mellow fruity flavour. Boil your black tea as before, leave to cool, strain into your glass pitcher. Add ice.
