Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Can I use reusable nappy for swimming?

For a trip to your local swimming pool or a day at the beach, all you need is a reusable swim nappy, however for baby and toddler swim classes you usually need to use a double nappy system.

2. Do you wear a nappy under a swim nappy?

Can my child wear a regular disposable nappy under a reusable swim nappy? No, regular disposable nappies are designed to soak up liquid so can become bulky and uncomfortable very quickly if submerged in a swimming pool. However, disposable swim nappies can be worn under a reusable swim nappy.

3. Do reusable swim diapers hold poop?

8. Babygoal Reusable Swim Diaper. The Babygoal reusable swim diaper does not contain an inner absorbable layer so it won't fill with water and weigh your baby's bottom down. This swim diaper is specifically designed to hold solids, making it poop-in-the-pool proof.

4. Are swim diapers supposed to be tight?

Although swim diapers are meant to fit tighter than regular diapers, make sure that they don't fit too tight or too loose. If the fit isn't right, your little one may start getting rashes or redness on their legs from chafing. Furthermore, the diaper won't contain solids or perform as well if it's too loose.
