Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Can I use reusable nappy for swimming?

For a trip to your local swimming pool or a day at the beach, all you need is a reusable swim nappy, however for baby and toddler swim classes you usually need to use a double nappy system.

2. Do reusable swim nappies hold wee?

Remember – disposable and reusable swim nappies are NOT designed to hold in urine so make sure you take your child for regular potty breaks or switch to a normal disposable nappy when they're not in the pool.

3. What nappies do you use for swimming?

There are two main types of swim nappies that you can buy:. Disposable swim nappies. These are like normal disposable nappies. They come in packs and each one is thrown away after use. ... Reusable swim nappies. These are made from soft, stretchy bathing suit material, which allows water to escape but contains any solids.

4. Can babies just wear swimming nappies?

Swim nappies are a must No baby is going to enjoy the experience if they're waterlogged in their standard nappy. Most pools wouldn't allow them in wearing those anyway. Instead, buy specific swim nappies – available in most big supermarkets or chemists – and a suitable swimsuit, trunks or wetsuit.
