Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Do Roman blinds need to be lined?

Although the lightweight nature of the fabric means it will fold and drape beautifully Roman blinds need to be lined and placing an opaque fabric lining behind a transparent or semi-transparent defeats the object of choosing sheers.

2. What is the best lining for a roman blind?

Cotton Polyester mix lining. It works pretty well in Roman Blinds that don't need a lot of added structure, fabrics that are thick and blanket like in feel. It will also give a longer life before shredding in the sun. It is a great choice for a re-line.
