Initial speed of the rotor is around 8000 rpm. Personally I like to hold it in hand to feel its power when I was bored. Can't say it's the best gyroscope available, but when take the price into consideration, this is the best one.

GREAT TIME KILLER: It can magically stand on almost any places: fingertip, tip of a pencil or a thread. Is truly addictive especially for kids (buy one for your kids to buy yourself some quiet time!).
