UV EXPOSURE - Both reptiles and amphibians need both UVB and UVA light to live long, healthy lives. To ensure safe UV exposure, the minimum distance from lamp to reptile is 20cm (8"). We recommend a minimum vivarium height of around 50-60cm (20"-24").
