[HISTORY] The NATO G10 watch strap was developed by the British Ministry of Defence in 1973. The requirement was to create a watch band that could handle water, be fitted easily to fixed spring bar watches without the need for tools and would keep the watch secure even if one spring bar broke. What they came up with would soon become a classic strap, used the world over. The great thing about NATOs is they are easy to swap around, extremely durable and suit any occasion.
