Weighting down the black plastic liner in all the Planter's inner corners with weighted non-sharp objects is a good tip before trimming the excess unwanted liner with a blade.

Position in sensible well-lit place to avoid tripping. Take care to not over tighten screws if powered screwdrivers are used. All the metal hardware is provided for your ease of use.
