DESIGNED FOR BREWER CONVENIENCE: On top of each tank there is an oval opening that allows for the closing of the tank by the lid. On the bottom there is a sump to enhance the draining off. Printed on the stainless steel external surface there is information about the tank capacity, the identification numbers, and the manufacturer. The stainless steel lid fastens tightly to the body, is finished with a handle, and has a pressure release valve to easily depressurize the keg.

SET OF FOUR KEGS: Made in Italy, this set of four 5 gallon home brew ball lock beer kegs (also known as Pepsi kegs or Cornelius kegs) has been approved by the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) and meets NSDA voluntary standards. They're perfect for small breweries just getting started or home brewers looking to keg their beer. Their sanitary 304 grade stainless steel construction makes them ideal for storing and dispensing wine, soda, kombucha, and coffee as well as beer.

SANITARY STAINLESS STEEL BODY: The tanks are made of AISI type 304 stainless steel (1. 4301) with No. 2B mill finish steel sheet which fulfills ASTM A240 specification. All inside surfaces are smooth to prevent any possible dirt or contamination from remaining inside after washing and sterilizing. Stainless steel does not react to magnetic attraction and its color does not change due to cleaning or sterilizing.

RUBBER COATING: The tops and bottoms of the kegs are covered with black hot vulcanized natural rubber bonded onto the steel. Two handles on the tops offer easy handling. Four openings in the bottom skirts enhance the drain of water when the keg is upside down. The maximum outer diameter of the rubber parts is larger than the maximum outer diameter of the body, minimizing damage by impact and allowing the keg to be rolled and stacked. Each keg measures 25" tall and 8. 5" in diameter.

BALL LOCK FITTINGS: On the top part of each tank there are two welded stems, through which the gas tube and the liquid tube are putted inside the tank, and on top of which the plugs are fixed. To allow quick disconnect with the draft beer system, each tank is equipped with one liquid plug and one gas plug. The gas plug has an incision on the hexagon and the liquid plug does not. They are both clearly marked by a stencil on the rubber handle.
