Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Can toddlers eat with metal spoons?

Most experts agree that you shouldn't start off feeding babies and infants with metal spoons and cutlery. They're not necessarily all that dangerous, but it's better to wait to introduce metal spoons and cutlery until: What is this?

2. Can babies eat with stainless steel spoons?

When babies are just starting to eat, they may not love the hard texture of stainless steel, so give them a chance to get used to it. This type of spoon is incredibly durable, easy to clean, and made without plastic.

3. What cutlery should a 2 year old use?

For 1 to 2-year-olds, think about introducing a fork, and give them food they can practice stabbing. But they'll also still be using their fingers too. When they reach 2, you can start to introduce metal cutlery as well as kid-proof knives. Opt for ones that encourage grip and fine motor skills.

4. Can 2 year olds use spoons?

Spoons and Forks Babies can start to use a spoon by themselves at around 10 to 12 months old. Your child will continue to get better at using tools like spoons and forks. Give your child a chance to use spoons and forks—even if it is messy.
