Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Are sauna suits good for losing fat?

The sauna may be able to help you burn some extra calories, but don't bank on sweat sessions alone to shed pounds. It isn't an effective tool for real weight loss.

2. Do you wear clothes under a sauna suit?

Wear close-fitting, moisture-wick undergarments – such as briefs and sports bras – under your sauna suit.

3. Are sauna suits good for you?

According to a new study out of Western State Colorado University, exercising in a neoprene sauna suit can not only help you lose weight, but also burn fat, lower your blood sugar levels, and increase your aerobic fitness.

4. Should a sauna suit be tight?

A sauna suit should fit snugly but not too tightly. You still want to have a good range of motion while working out. If you opt for neoprene, you won't need to change the size of a sauna suit as you lose weight because you can still generate sweat when it has a looser fit.
