Coarse fishing attractants are a range of specially formulated products designed to enhance the flavour and scent of baits used in coarse fishing. These attractants come in a variety of forms, including liquids, gels, and powders, and are typically applied directly to baits such as pellets, boilies, and groundbait. The use of attractants can significantly increase the chances of catching fish by drawing them towards the baited area. They are a popular choice among anglers looking to improve their catch rates and are widely available at fishing tackle shops and online retailers.

The best baits for coarse fishing are maggots, casters, worms, sweetcorn and pellets. There are however many factors to take into consideration before deciding what bait to use, such as the conditons and the type of fish you are targeting.

2. What can I use for coarse fishing?

MEATS. You can use most meats for Carp, Tench, and Chub. One example is Luncheon Meat which can be bought in your local tackle shop in a variety of flavours, including Tandoori Curry, Strawberry, Sardine and so on.

3. What spices are fish attracted to?

Three scents that appear to be positive scents are salt, anise, and garlic. Anise and garlic may be masking scents rather than attracting scents. Now think about this: The smells or scents are transmitted to the fish by the water surrounding the fish.
