Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is rim in cycle?

For example, on a bicycle wheel the rim is a large hoop attached to the outer ends of the spokes of the wheel that holds the tire and tube. In cross-section, the rim is deep in the center and shallow at the outer edges, thus forming a "U" shape that supports the bead of the tire casing.

2. What does 700c mean?

700c is the size of your bike tire, according to the 'French system'. The “700” number is the stated diameter of the bicycle tire in millimeters. “c” is the width code of the tire (as you would see if you looked at your bike from behind or in front).

3. Do wheels make a difference cycling?

“Light weight wheels accelerate faster than heavy ones, which helps when you're taking off from a stop, but heavy wheels maintain more of their momentum than light wheels, which helps you keep your speed on rolling roads and trails.
