Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Are door jumpers safe for babies?

Swinging too much or with too much force can cause injury to their neck.” As a mom and a rehab nurse, jumpers that hang in the doorway and swing freely are not things I recommend. Baby Walkers Baby walkers don't actually help your baby learn to walk because they become dependent on the seat to support them.

2. What age is a door jumper for?

Babies should not be placed in a jumper until they have developed neck stability and head control. Most babies develop complete head control by the time they are five to six months old, so it is safe to use a jumper when the baby is six months old.

3. Are baby door bouncers safe UK?

Health professionals in the UK have also warned about the devices in the past. The NHS advises babies only spend 20 minutes at a time in walkers, bouncers and jumpers. The NHS website says of the devices: "These encourage babies to stand on their tiptoes and can delay walking if your baby uses them a lot."
